Why do I need this medicine?
Azelaic Acid is used to treat acne.
How do I use this medicine?
Use this medicine exactly as directed by your doctor or according to the instructions on the label. Do not use more or less than instructed by your doctor.

Apply and gently massage the medicine into the affected areas. Avoid application to the eyes, mouth, and other mucous membranes such as the inside of your nose. If Azelaic Acid accidentally gets into your eyes, flush your eyes with clean water immediately.

Do not cover, wrap or bandage the area unless instructed by your doctor.

Wash your hands following application of this medicine.

Do not use Azelaic Acid for anything else other than the purpose instructed by your doctor.
What should I do if I have forgotten to use this medicine?
Apply missed dose as soon as you remember.

DO NOT double a dose under any circumstances.

If you often forget to use your medicine, let your doctor and pharmacist know.
What should I take note of while using this medicine?
Let your doctor know if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
What side effects could I experience?
Azelaic Acid may cause any of the following side effects: burning, stinging, tingling, and itching of the skin.

This medicine may also cause changes in skin colour. Discuss with your doctor if you experience any.

Inform your doctor if any of these side effects do not go away or are severe, or if you experience other side effects.
Can I use this with other medicines?
Always notify your doctor and pharmacist if you are taking any other medicines, including herbal tonics, such as traditional Chinese medicine, supplements and medicines that you buy without a prescription.
What special dietary instructions should I follow?
Avoid food and beverages that might cause redness of the skin, flushing, and blushing, such as spicy food, alcoholic beverages, and hot drinks (e.g. hot coffee and tea).
How should I store this medicine?
Store in a cool, dry place away from the reach of children.

Medicines must not be used past the expiry date.
